The current Langley School District chairman wants to re-examine the Routley land swap between a developer, Langley Township and the school district.
Rob McFarlane announced at the end of last Tuesday's school board meeting that he intends to raise the issue after the Nov. 19 local election.
"I think a lot has changed since we initially dealt with the land swap," McFarlane told the Langley Advance after the board meeting.
He made the surprise announcement that as the district works on its 10-year facilities plan, he plans to ask in January for the land swap issues to be reconsidered.
The school district has no land north of 60th Avenue on the west side of the district, he said.
